Meet Me Halfway?

Recently been Hit w/ ladyfriends having trouble w/ ....
none other than that dreaded word-relatioships-*yikes.
I know, i know, kinda frightening right?
Haha, for some-Yes.
the theme that seems to be the same in each story is-effort.
Well with effort also comes Pride, Affection-What have you.
Both he and she feel they are doin' most of the 'work'.
that is calling each other or being the one to say cute things,
or watever else it is that comes w/ the role of being someone else's 'significant other'.
Not the same exact plot plays along in each story, nor do the same characters star in them either.
But Personally, i think the "work" in relationships should be divided equally-that is ideastically speaking in a eutopian society w/ perfect people-but as we all kno, this is not the case on a little planet we call Earth.
Yes some beings seem to be more prideful, shy, jealous, stubborn, etc.
But i mean if ur emotionally connected to that person you should kno all these traits, and if you kno all the traits you should make the effort to work it out.
If you actually want it to work, i mean.
I know i'm not the perfect partner either, and i have, and i will continue to make mistakes, but once i recognize them, though it stabs my pride, I am willing to apologize.
Because i aknowledge i am human, and only ask to be forgiven because i am human.
Not only that, if you Truly Desire to stay with the person you are with, they and maybe only they, give you strength to push aside all the jealousy or negative feelings you have. Regardless, if it is their fault or not.
I believe that when both partners on opposite ends of the bridge realize that they make mistakes, and they WILL make mistakes, and it WILL be a rocky road, and things won't always be perfect, and that this only happens because they are human, and though they wish they were something else, they can't change that.
and maybe a little bit of fear might cave in, but with all these difficulties they are handed, they make up their mind and decide they still want to follow through with it, because they trust the other person on the bridge is willing to cross that bridge as well, Is when the opportunity of a piercingly beautiful relationshiop can begin to blossom, and produce a fruit of Love.
If and only if, they are willing to meet each other halfways.
Not forgetting the chance that Maybe one might have to run to the other side, just to give them strength to walk to the desired destination.

Aww, so i'm Finally watchin' this movie.
i wanted to watch it wen it came out.
but now it's on T.V.
and i LOVE It.
it's soo cute.
sad thing is that wen i think about it,
it's kinda an impossible fantasy,
to have ur husband leave you letters after he dies.
Nonetheless, still a cute movie.
oh and might i add i kinda have a secret crushh on Gerard Butler.
is it just me?
